Mr Thomas Jackson

About

Mr Thomas Jackson is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with specialist expertise in cataract and oculoplastic surgery. He has been a Consultant at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust since 2015 and currently serves as Clinical Director for Ophthalmology.

Mr Jackson graduated from the University of Bristol with a medical degree and also obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Anatomy. He completed his specialist ophthalmology training in the West Midlands before undertaking an advanced Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery in Leicester. In 2013, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Mr Jackson has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and oculoplastic conditions. His specialist interests include cataract surgery, eyelid disorders, watery eyes (lacrimal conditions) and orbital diseases. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, tailoring treatment to each individual's needs while ensuring patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their care.

Alongside his NHS role, Mr Jackson also offers private consultations and treatment at Newmedica Worcester, providing patients with timely access to expert ophthalmic care in a modern, purpose-built setting.

As Clinical Director for Ophthalmology, Mr Jackson combines his clinical expertise with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and driving continuous improvements in ophthalmic services.
